I often have people tell me that it’s hard for them to justify the price of handmade items. “But handmade items are so EXPENSIVE,” they say. And they’re right, compared to mass-produced items that is. But what does handmade mean to you? To me, handmade equals quality, durability, craftsmanship, and one of a kind. I get to own something that nobody else in the world has. And something made to last a lifetime.
When you purchase handmade, you are purchasing a little piece of someone’s heart and soul. You are purchasing a unique, one-of-a-kind item that a maker has invested a little piece of themselves in. (Blood, sweat, and tears – sometimes literally in my case!) We take great pride in our work or we wouldn’t do it in the first place! But we are also our own harshest critic. We notice each and every detail and are constantly striving to make the next piece even better than the one before.
When you purchase handmade, that money goes directly to someone who is working at a bench in the corner of their garage (like me) or another little nook in their home, and very often after they have worked all day at a “real job” or after their kids are asleep.
Crow and Arrow Jewelry is a one woman operation. Each piece is hand-crafted using the highest quality silver and stones. I only make things that I would be proud to actually wear myself. You can expect an heirloom quality, one-of-a-kind piece made by me with love an intention.
